Humans will begin the 5K race first, in order to get a head start before the zombies can catch up! Humans will carry two "health flags," tucked into their waist bands. If zombies capture both of a humans' health flags, that human has become one of the undead!

 

At registration, you will select "zombie," "human" or "suprise me" to determine your role on race day. You are encouraged to come in costume---best zombie and human survivor costumes will be awarded after the race----or stop by a zombification station to get transformed before the race begins.

 

Prizes will be awarded to the fastest female and male human who finish with both their health flags, and to the female and male zombie who finish the fastest with the most health flags.
